Actually no, this is not a journal about Pokémon X and Y. Hello everyone! I've been gone for quite some time I know. For those of you who vaguely remember my name, you might remember that the last time I was here, my childhood Labrador had just died. I was planning to do a tribute to her (and I do still intend to), but a new project has bloomed and gotten in the way. I was going to hold back on posting about this originally, as it was supposed to be a personal project, but it's exploded out of hand. We got a call at about 5:00 this morning. My lab passed away in the night before we could go up to see her. She's going to be donated to medical research. It's just not a good morning. I plan to look through eight years worth of pictures of her soon and pick out things to do a memorial for her, so if I take just a little bit longer to reply, try to bear with me. Thanks, everyone.

I'm sorry about my lapse (again) in activity. Especially to you ~iverie (https://www.deviantart.com/iverie): I promise I am going to get to your story in just a few days. It's been a long couple of weeks. My laptop's grown quite sick and is now fond of what I'll call power naps (or rather, shutting down whenever it feels like it), and finals week wasn't a pretty time for me anyway. To top it off, I got out of my last final today to discover that my veterinarian had brought my eight-year-old Labrador up to the local veterinary center. Her spleen ruptured today, and so I'll be heading up tomorrow to put her down. It's just... not been fun. I'll be back soon, I think. I'm p
